Kris Ramsay is a Sydney based, Australian born, visual Artist. Specialising in Fine Celtic Art, working with and sculpting acrylic mediums on canvas and clay board.
Kris has always felt a strong connection to her Scottish heritage. In her teenage years, after gifted a simple Celtic knot ring, she became enthralled by the interwoven geometric motifs of Celtic Art.
Inspired, Kris endeavoured to learn and cultivate her ability into her own unique designs, drawing the viewer in to investigate the dimensional illusion which makes her works look carved from natural elements, rather than a painted work of art. Each piece, in honour of her heritage, is given a Scottish Gaidhlig names.
Kris Ramsay is now a recognised name within the Celtic art community, also, along with Peter Grimes, is a co-administrator of Facebook page -Celtic Artist of Australia.
Kris's husband, family, and The Ryde council Cornucopia art group, with mentors Dr Neville Dawson and Margaret Westcott, have been great supports in her artistic endeavours, complex mental health, memory and physical complications

Co-administrator of 'Celtic Artists of Australia' Facebook group with Peter Grimes
